Ethan L. Rodriguez is a filmmaker and storyteller based in Savannah, Georgia. Ethan has directed and written narrative shorts, documentaries, and commercial work, including his recent festival-selected film The Sound Within.

The Sound Within [Narrative]

The Sound Within is my first short film in my career. This short film explores the intersection of grief and music, and how sound can serve as a bridge between memory and emotion. It’s an intimate reflection on the way we process loss, not just through words, but through what we hear, feel, and carry within.

The Shop [Documentary]

This past summer, I had the opportunity to make my first Documentary. This is a story about Joel Brown, my first barber when I moved to Florida in 2014. In this Documentary, we pull back the curtain and move past the shop floor to sit down with Joel. This isn’t about fading techniques or business strategies; it’s about his journey, his passions, and the drive that keeps him grounded.
